We installed this safety update on Alpine Amusement Companies Wipeout. This kit called for the installation of a foot kick plate on each car. The safety bulletin also calls for the installation of a seat belt kit in each car. The installation required us to cut 3 holes in each of the 20 seats. The seat belt kit bolts on to the existing frame of the car and the belts stick through the holes. This kit caused a problem with the original racking of the cars for transportation. We found that if left in the original mounting positions that it would smash the front sign and 2 cars that rack on the floor. We moved the mounting holes and hardware to alleviate the problem. The kit alone cost over $8,000 dollars plus labor and is a mandatory safety update from the manufacturer.

If you are looking to purchase a Wipeout make sure this kit is installed or you will have to purchase it and isntall. With out this kit it will not be allowed to operate in any state in the US.
